Doggone Elegant was born out of a love for our gorgeous greyhounds, and our desire to provide them with the very best life.
Several years ago, we were invited to a fashionable holiday party, along with an invitation for our two beautiful greyhounds. Wanting our two dogs to look their very best, we began searching high and low for unique dog collars that would match our attire. Much to our surprise, the only dog collars available were the standard nylon type or faux leather “fancy” dog collars.
With a background in fine jewelry design, we decided to create our own custom dog collars for our beloved four-legged family members. Using semi-precious gems, we designed jeweled dog collars that truly brought out the beauty and class of our greyhounds. At the holiday party, our beaded pet jewelry was a great hit among dog-lovers and cat-lovers alike. You could even see the joy and happiness in our dog’s eyes, as they were showered with compliments. Many of our friends began asking us to create custom dog collars for their furry friends, and thus, Doggone Elegant was born!
